Churchwarden 

 I moved to Tamworth in 1969 and have worshipped at St Leonard's and Spital since then.
I have been Honorary
churchwarden at Spital
since 2009 and it
seemed a natural progression
to become Church warden
for the Parish.
I feel really honoured to hold
the position with
the many challenges that it brings.
I hope that I can be a
listening ear to my
church family.

I've worshipped at St. Leonard's
over twenty years,
have 3 grown up children
and a granddaughter.
I am a governor at
St. Leonard's school.
The role of churchwarden
includes helping
the incumbent,
representing the laity -
encouraging peace and unity,
and my personal favourite -
preventing disorder
in the churchyard!
We have legal responsibility for the church and its contents.
We are your representatives in the Parish and report to the
Archdeacon.
